It is with great satisfaction that the entire ETL (Austrian Academy of Sciences and University of Graz) and ECTIL staff look back on the 23rd Annual Conference on European Tort Law, which took place over two consecutive days last week in the Festsaal of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
This year's Special Session focused on Product Liability, attracting many prominent speakers and participants from about 35 countries. The developments in the respective jurisdictions will appear again in the Yearbook (E Karner/BC Steininger, European Tort Law 2023 [2024], to be published in autumn 2024), while the written reports of the Special Session will be featured in the Journal of European Tort Law (JETL) in summer 2024. In addition, a detailed conference report will again be published in the Austrian journal, ‘Zeitschrift für Verkehrsrecht’ (ZVR).
The 24th Annual Conference on European Tort Law will be held on 24-25 April 2025.
